“During my first few years of business, I tried advertising in several publications. None of them worked. When Alexis first approached me, I thought her’s was a very good idea but I was worried that it would be the same – put out money and get nothing back.  But the template of the guide looked good with its excellent graphics and so I decided to try it. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During the season I saw countless people coming up the street carrying her guide. Probably 30 or 40% of my guests carried it. We had good word of mouth, but we are located a little off the beaten path. With the guide, they could find me. Unlike other Lagos maps, her guide was pocket size and easy to read. Her distribution is also excellent – I have checked to make sure she distributes as she claims.
