Taghostel is a charming old building located on Lagos´ main avenue, with a gorgeous view over the Marina and Beach.

This traditional Portuguese building was initially opened as a Bed & Breakfast back in 1865! In 2013, it was renovated and saw the beginning of a new era, as it reopened it´s doors as Taghostel. The building´s high ceilings, wooden floorboards, tall windows and mixed vintage furniture create a chic yet homely space that oozes with charm. The decoration combines original antiques from the building with up-cycled furniture, and you will surely be impressed by the result.

The hostel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, both private and shared. The shared rooms are not over crowded, with just 1, 2 or 3 bunk beds per room. There is also a beautiful Attic, with 6 beds just for girls and an ensuite bathroom.

The second floor is home to a large common living room with Cable TV, playstation 3 and a big breakfast table. It is the perfect place to come and relax for travelers and surfers. When you feel like socialising, step out to the huge, mediterranean style patio area, which has a stunning view to the main beach, Meia Praia. They regularly host Family dinners, so you are sure to meet people and experience some good times.

The hostel has plenty of bathrooms (8! with a total of 13 showers and 9 toilets), so that necessary comfort hasn´t been over-looked either.

And the cherry on the top: Breakfast is included and WIFI is for free!
