Lagos´ Museu Municipal houses an interesting collection of archaeological finds from the area. These include Roman mosaics, Moorish oil lamps and pottery. There is also display of European weapons such as swords, muskets and cannonballs and the charter by which King Manuel conferred privileges on Lagos.
